REDUCE TRANSPORTATION IMPACT
JOIN THE “REDUCE TRANSPORTATION IMPACT” CHALLENGE AND BE PART OF THE SOLUTION:
Transportation is the largest source of carbon emissions in the United States. Taking public transportation, walking, or riding a bike are better options that help the environment and your budget, as well as getting some exercise in.
If you do need to use a car, try carpooling. This is cheaper for everyone and you’ll get to spend time with friends as well!
HOW TO SUCCEED IN THIS CHALLENGE

Check your local public transportation. If your community doesn’t have enough public transportation options, ask for more! You can check your options using apps such as LINK
2. Avoid air travel
