JOIN THE “WATER CONSUMPTION” CHALLENGE AND BE PART OF THE SOLUTION:
Water is one of our most precious resources, directly connected with all life on Earth. We waste freshwater and use it more than the aquifer refill capacity. Limit your water usage, take a shower, when you brush your teeth, wash the dishes or water your garden. Changing old habits will be good for both the environment and your wallet!
HOW TO SUCCEED IN THIS CHALLENGE
1. In your yard -Avoid watering your plants during daylight, especially at midday under the sun when most of it evaporates. -Collect rainwater to water your plants -Mulch the base of trees and plants to increase absorbency and prevent water runoff -Plant water-efficient native plants and use eco-friendly fertilizers to avoid polluting the aquifer.
